January 2016 will see a sharp return to DOMOTEX – World of Flooring Exhibition for Jewel Blade Ltd as they will be showcasing their Innovative range of GREAT British blades. In the New Year from the 16th – 19th January Jewel Blade will exhibit in Hannover, Germany at the worldwide leading trade fair DOMOTEX in the Deutsche Messe where they will be situated in Hall 7, Stand D13.
After a successful and productive third consecutive year at the show in 2015 the company looks to put their stamp amongst the flooring industry for a fourth year. Following 2015 which saw approximately 38,000 visitors from over 96 countries and 1316 Exhibitors from 63 nations the fair truly is a worldwide event not to be missed and provides a GREAT opportunity to raise the company’s profile throughout Europe and beyond. DOMOTEX is home to market leaders from every corner of the international floor coverings market and therefore provides the perfect platform for Jewel to present their XL Premium Silver & Gold Range of longer lasting blades, along with their ever increasing range of blades for the Textile and Fibre Industries.
The innovative XL Premium Silver & Gold Range of blades are designed, developed and manufactured by Jewel Blade in Sheffield England to the highest of industry standards using a high quality Premium 1.25% Carbon Steel which is utilised more commonly in the production of surgical blades. Jewel Blade are the ONLY UK MANUFACTURERS to use this premium quality steel to produce blades for use in the flooring industry. This superior steel can be heat treated to a higher tolerance effectively increasing the hardness and consequently improving both the durability and performance of the blades.
The XL Premium Silver Range with its polished finish and increased blade sharpness is designed to be longer lasting for fitters due to a decreased amount of blade drag with enhanced slip factor when cutting through the toughest of modern day materials, subsequently reducing both user handling which in turn reduces the risk of accidental sharps injuries and tool downtime ensuring a more productive and cost effective blade.
The XL Premium Gold boasts a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating which forms a metallurgical bond with the blades cutting edge. This is an extremely strong adhesion that is highly inert which allows the blades to remain sharper for longer with an increased cutting performance of up to 8 X making them ideal for use when cutting all types of Heavy Duty Safety Flooring and LVT. All of these factors contribute to providing the fitter with a higher yield that ensures they ‘Achieve More with Less’.
